PBS&J announces its acquisition of Land & Water Consulting, Inc., a 43-person engineering and natural resource consulting firm headquartered in Missoula, Mont.

Land & Water specializes in the assessment and restoration of natural resources throughout the Northwest and northern Rockies, and it joins PBS&J as a division of the firm’s Environmental Services. Land & Water has offices in the Montana cities of Missoula, Bozeman, Kalispell, and Helena, and in Spokane, Wash.

"The merger offers both companies the opportunity to expand geographically and technically. We expect both companies’ clients to benefit," said PBS&J President Todd J. Kenner, P.E. "For PBS&J’s clients, Land & Water brings considerable expertise in several key disciplines: stream and wetland restoration, water resources, environmental assessment and restoration, water rights, and regulatory permitting and compliance. The firm’s commitment to a high standard of excellence complements PBS&J’s own."
