Kruger Educates the Future of Water Treatment

June 27, 2011
Earlier this month, company workers advocated water treatment careers at a local elementary school

Kruger Inc., a Veolia Water Solutions and Technologies company, participated in Career Day at Northwoods Elementary School on June 2, 2011, in Cary, N.C.

Fourth and Fifth graders learned about improving the environment and how communities can clean their water supply with the use of a sand ballasted clarification system.

Kruger Process Manager Luke Wood gave the students a look at the role of an engineer in environmental companies during his demonstration of the Actiflo system. He also educated these potential future engineers on the importance of daily water conservation, especially given the world’s population growth and water scarcity concerns.
