Koch Membrane Systems Hires New Regional Manager for South America

Sergio Roberto Rodrigues Ribeiro brings 18 years of experience to KMS

The Koch Membrane Systems division (KMS), of Koch Tecnologia Quimica, Ltda. has hired Sergio Roberto Rodrigues Ribeiro as its new regional manager for South America.

“We are very excited to welcome Sergio to the Koch Membrane Systems team, and are confident that his in-depth knowledge of water and wastewater treatment coupled with his experience in the region will prove invaluable in providing our customers with the highest level of service,” said John Morrison, senior vice-president of sales and marketing at Koch Membrane Systems, Inc.

Ribeiro will be responsible for increasing market share for KMS in the South American region through the sale of membranes, systems and cleaning chemicals to new and long-term customers in the industrial and municipal markets. In addition, Ribeiro will support the launch of new products in South America, as well as cultivate a network of OEM distributors specific to the region.

Ribeiro joins KMS with more than 18 years of experience in water and wastewater treatment. Additionally, he brings a proven record of accomplishment, having managed businesses focused on regional growth, application development and the development of local sales teams. Prior to joining KMS, Ribeiro worked as a consultant to the power and water industries, and has also held various positions at VA TECH WABAG, Praxair and International Paper.

Ribeiro holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP) in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
