Kinetico Appoints New Chief Marketing Officer

Kinetico, Inc., a manufacturer of water treatment systems based in Ohio, announces the appointment of Toby Thomas as chief marketing officer. Thomas comes from Monitor Group, a global growth and strategy advisory firm in Cambridge, Mass., and brings with him more than 24 years of practical experience addressing the most difficult marketing, branding and sales challenges, developing breakthrough growth programs and creating robust commercial strategies. The appointment reflects Kinetico’s commitment to its global marketing initiatives.

Thomas has driven growth for leading companies, large and small, in an array of industries including technology, industrial, life sciences, consumer products, financial and business services. Responsible for Kinetico’s marketing, product management, business development and customer interface, his practical expertise in bringing products and services to market along with his engineering background will benefit the company as it strives to grow the core business, introduce innovative new products and exceed financial goals.

With a master’s degree in business administration from the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration, Thomas also holds a bachelor of science with honors in chemical engineering from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ont., Canada. He has lived in many regions of the world and has recently relocated to the Cleveland area.
