JWC Environmental Patent Lawsuit Settled

Costa Mesa, Calif. - JWC Environmental (JWCE) of Costa Mesa, Calif., Franklin Miller, Inc. of Livingston, N.J., and JBI of El Dorado Hills, Calif. jointly announced the settlement of a lawsuit for patent infringement brought by JWCE. The lawsuit accused certain versions of Franklin Miller’s screenings washer products (collectively “Spiralift SC”) of infringing JWCE U.S. Patent 7,080,650. As part of the settlement, Franklin Miller and JBI have agreed to modify the accused Spiralift SC screening washer products. In return, JWCE has dropped its lawsuit. All other terms of the settlement remain confidential.
