ITT Industries Launches Advanced Filtration Brand

Oct. 5, 2004

ITT Industries continues to strengthen its capabilities as a water treatment solutions provider with the launch of Aquious.

This new brand will envelope ITT Industries’ existing membrane filtration products to provide its customers with a broad and innovative range of filtration process systems and products to serve the desalination, surface water treatment, water reuse and industrial process separation markets.

The Aquious brand is currently operating with sales/applications offices and manufacturing centers in North America, Europe and Asia.

"We have over 35 years of combined experience in membrane filtration and over 500 installations in more than 30 countries. We have an impressive track record of exceeding customer expectations which provides a solid base for our new brand," said Robert L. Ayers, president of ITT Industries’ Fluid Technology.

Aquious is designed to work closely with ITT’s other advanced water treatment businesses: Sanitaire biological wastewater treatment and WEDECO UV and ozone systems for water and wastewater treatment. This synergy works to meet the rigorous quality and performance demands of ITT's commercial, industrial and municipal customers.

ITT Industries, Inc. (www.itt.com) is a $6 billion global multi-industry company based in White Plains, N.Y. ITT supplies advanced technology products and services in key markets: fluid and water management including water treatment; defense communication, opto-electronics, information technology and services; electronic interconnects and switches; and other specialty products.
