Itron Hosts Free Web Seminars on Meter Data Management

May 27, 2005

Itron Inc. will host a series of web seminars on Meter Data Management, focusing on how crucial meter data is to utility companies in a variety of capacities.

The first Internet seminar will be held from 10 to 11 am PST, Thursday, June 2 on Sarbanes-Oxley and Meter Data Management.

The Sarbanes-Oxley Act requires that companies meet stringent standards for financial accuracy, auditing and reporting. Meter Data Management increases accuracy and security of meter data while also making it easier to apply that data throughout the utility to control costs, improve services and create new sources of revenue.

The other web seminars will be held July 7, Aug. 11 and Sept. 8. To register for any or all seminars, please visit: http://www.itron.com/ems/knowledge.
