Insituform Wins Innovative Product Award for iPlus Composite Pipe

2008 Innovative Product Award presented at the No-Dig International Conference in Poland

Insituform Technologies, Inc. received the 2008 Innovative Product award at the No-Dig International Conference in Poland for the Company’s iPlus Composite pipe.

The product is next-generation cured-in-place pipe that is reinforced with carbon and/or glass fibers. The fiber reinforcement provides a structural solution that is roughly half the thickness of traditional pipe. The award was presented at the No-Dig International Conference in Kielce, Poland, April 9 to 11.

“It’s a great honor for Insituform to receive this award,” said Rafal Chart, general manager of Insituform Sp. z.o.o in Krakow, Poland. “It’s clear that our customers really like the concept of iPlus Composite pipe.”

Chart said almost 3,600 ft of iPlus Composite liner will be installed soon in two projects in Ostroleka and Poznan, Poland.
