Control System

Meter
The Model 502 suspended solids meter measures the concentration of sludges or slurries without the reading being affected by color. Using ultrasound, the meter is suitable for open-top tanks or pipelines and requires no permits to operate. It is used to measure primary, secondary, return activated sludges, industrial sludges and process slurries. Markland offers free testing of samples.

Gas Shutoff System
The Hexacon Model II control system quickly closes up to six Eclipse actuators on toxic gas cylinder and ton container valves when activated by panic buttons or remote gas sensors. The newly designed system applies 30 ft-lb of torque for test closures and 50 ft-lb of torque for emergency closures of the cylinder valve.
