Hydrophones
The new hydrophones for the LC-2500 correlator are a powerful tool for pinpointing leaks in PVC water mains and large diameter pipes where hydrants are available. Ten times more sensitive than most transducers, the hydrophones hear the leak sounds through the water inside the pipe. The hydrophones kit includes two hydrophones, two brass adaptors for hydrants with standard NST threads and a carrying case.

Contactors & Overload Relays
The XT line of IEC contactors and overload relays are easy to install. Its modular design and compact frame makes this series ideal for applications up to 32 A (AC-3), 40 A (AC-1) and 3PH motor applications up to 25 hp at 575 V. The XT Series includes nonreversing contactors, overload relays and a variety of related accessories. The contactors have positively driven contacts between the integrated auxiliary contact modules as well as within the auxiliary contact modules.

Controller
Desludging pumps can be turned on and off with a timer but it is more efficient to use a controller based on suspended solids. The Markland Model 502 suspended solids controller can be used to measure this slurry and then control the pumps. Markland offers free testing of your materials. Using safe ultrasound, the meter can be used in open top tanks or in pipelines. It measures slurries too thick for optical methods.

Batch Reactors

Submerged Membrane Module

Turbine
The PlasmaWhirl turbine integrates aeration, biosolids gasification and UV disinfection. The process utilizes dual plasma systems. First, an electro-plasma system gasifies unpressed sludge (3% solids), which is steam reformed in a second plasma torch—the ArcWhirl—which is then internally cooled with wastewater effluent and irradiated with UV light from the carbon arc. The hydrogen and steam plasma are injected into the lean combustion chamber and the oxygenated exhaust is used to aerate wastewater influent.
