The International Bottled Water Association (IBWA) announced the official theme, “Everyone’s a Winner,” for the IBWA 2006 Annual Convention and Trade Show, to be held in Las Vegas, Nev., at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino Oct. 3 to 6, 2006. The dynamic convention and trade show event is specifically designed for bottled water professionals.
IBWA will provide an extensive seminar program to educate bottled water professionals about innovative technologies, processes and industry trends to help them succeed and meet the challenges of today and the future. The bottled water-specific trade show will showcase the premier processing, packaging, equipment and services for the global bottled water industry.
“The IBWA Annual Convention and Trade Show has no rival when it comes to educational seminars and showcasing the services and advanced technology of the bottled water industry,” stated IBWA President Joseph K. Doss. “As a leader in the bottled water business, IBWA will continue to strengthen its commitment to quality bottled water and train our industry’s leaders for the future. Truly, everyone who participates in this convention and show will be a ‘winner.’”
Convention attendees will have access to the most advanced educational opportunities for both new and seasoned bottled water professionals, and the trade show will highlight the many innovations in the bottled water industry. Bottled water continues to set new records in the beverage market, and IBWA remains the central force and source of information, technology, representation and support for the bottled water industry, as it has for the past 48 years.
The convention will also feature the IBWA Aqua Awards, Plant Manager of the Year Award, Route Salesperson of the Year Award, Bottled Water Hall of Fame Award and the new Directors’ Award. These awards recognize outstanding contributions and excellence in the bottled water industry.
