Godwin Pumps, a manufacturer and supplier of the Dri-Prime automatic self-priming pump, announced the addition of Bill Price to the newly-created position of asset, logistic and transportation manager. Based in Godwin’s Bridgeport, N.J., world headquarters, Price will coordinate equipment relocation, including branch-to-branch equipment transfers. In addition to equipment transportation duties, Price will facilitate the utilization of Godwin’s newly-implemented enterprise software in all facets of dispatch and freight.

Price has 20 years of experience in several industries, including working as transportation services director, operations manager and vice president of operations. Price’s experience in the field includes creating and executing delivery logistics from several distribution centers throughout the U.S., establishing computer modules to support delivery programs and conducting the hiring and training of transportation personnel. Price also has knowledge of fiscal and strategic functions involved in the startup of new transportation departments.
