Christina White is new Portland, Ore., office manager; Don Saffran is new service manager of Baltimore branch

Godwin Pumps has announced the appointment of Christina White to the position of office manager of its Portland, Ore.-based company-owned branch, and the promotion of Don Saffran to service manager of its Baltimore-based company-owned branch.

White joins Godwin Pumps with more than 19 years experience in the title and escrow industry. She has extensive knowledge concerning general office management, title clearing and preparing statements, instructions and legal documents. As office manager, she will make consistent use of her organizational and communication skills, and her attention to detail concerning paperwork. Her “team-first” attitude makes her a perfect addition to Godwin. White is currently working toward a degree in Human Development from Warner Pacific College.

Saffran joined Godwin Pumps in February 2007 as a senior road mechanic. With his 27 years’ combined experience as a mechanic in the U.S. Marines and as co-owner of an engine repair shop, he has worked extensively with Detroit diesel engines and Honda and Kohler engines and generators. Don has had a tremendous impact on operations at the Baltimore branch in his brief time as acting service manager.

“Don’s promotion is a reflection of the possibilities presented to those within the organization who continuously share their added value,” said Godwin President John M. Paz. As service manager, Saffran will oversee the activities of the dispatcher and all shop and field mechanics, manage branch operations and serve as a quality control check for all repaired equipment.
