ARCADIS Principal Consultant To Deliver Keynote at 2012 International Society of Automation Symposium

ARCADIS, the international design, consulting, engineering and management services company, announced Celine Hyer, principal consultant with its Red Oak Consulting group, will deliver the keynote address at the 2012 International Society of Automation Water/Wastewater and Automatic Controls Symposium on Wed., Aug. 8 at 8 a.m.

Hyer's presentation, entitled "Facing Utility Challenges: Managing Risk and Addressing Aging Infrastructure Needs," outlines the current aging infrastructure problem and identifies simple and effective strategies to quantify asset risk and prioritize renewal and replacement needs for utilities. Hyer will also share risk mitigation strategies including the use of automation and communications equipment.

ISA's seventh annual symposium, to be held in Orlando, Fla. on August 7 to 9, offers a unique opportunity for automation professionals from the water and wastewater sectors to come together to share ideas, network and earn continuing education credits.
