Krausz Marks First Anniversary of Florida Facility

Dec. 5, 2014
The facility was opened by Krausz Industries of Israel

Krausz USA celebrated the first anniversary of its Ocala, Fla., facility that provides coupling and repair clamp solutions for the U.S. water and wastewater industry. The company was opened by Krausz Industries of Israel, which used an exclusive U.S. distributor in the past. The Ocala facility provides direct regional sales and service throughout North America, warehouses finished products for immediate delivery, and provides custom fabrication enhancements to base products made in Israel.

“In our first year of operation, we have been in close touch with U.S. customers to understand their needs, and provide them with good access to our products,” said Krausz USA President Tom Gwynn. “We house large inventories and can offer a wide range of products that can be customized as required. Our location in Ocala has also been invaluable given its access to surface transport across the U.S.”

In addition to providing access to Krausz products, the facility also houses a customer training center where clients can learn how to use products to their full potential. Technical support manager Doug Riseden has also travelled across the U.S. introducing customers to new product innovations.

“Meeting face to face with customers makes all the difference,” Riseden said. “It’s one thing to distribute and sell products. It’s another to get to know your customers, and help them meet their challenges in repairing water and wastewater piping.”
