HMM encourages young engineers to participate in ASCE activities

Hatch Mott MacDonald (HMM) has received the American Society of Civil Engineers’ (ASCE) 2014 Superior Employer Recognition Award, for encouraging young engineers to participate in ASCE activities.

“Hatch Mott MacDonald is dedicated to supporting and mentoring our younger engineers,” said Nicholas DeNichilo, president and CEO of HMM. “Participating in ASCE activities is an important way to develop professionally, and we are pleased that ASCE has recognized our contribution to its important work.”

HMM has an active Young Professionals Organization and offers continuing education through on-demand training courses, webinars, brown-bag technical presentations and other events. Training in career and project management is offered through the Horizon, Navigator and Elements programs, as well as networking events and a mentorship program.

HMM encourages staff members to attend ASCE events, and provides financial support and time off to those attending ASCE seminars, webinars, conferences and outreach and networking sessions.
