American Water Summit to Address the Future of Water

Two-day event will bring together water experts & executives to explore innovations & ideas for new business models

Hosted by American Water Intelligence, the American Water Summit will take place in at the Intercontinental Hotel at Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport Nov. 14 and 15. The event will gather key executives and experts from the water industry to discuss the future of water in America.

The event aims to spark a dialogue among government water leaders, top executives from private companies, investors, engineering company executives and water technology specialists.

Confirmed speakers at the event include: Barbara Bennett, CFO of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency; Jeff Sterba, CEO of American Water; Bertrand Camus, CEO of United Water; and Jes Munk Hansen, CEO of Grundfos North America.

In addition to speakers, the summit will feature the American Water Awards, which will be presented at the Gala Dinner on the evening of Nov. 14. At this new event, five awards will be presented in the following categories: Utility Performer of the Year, Partnership Performance of the Year, Technology Project of the Year, Environmental Project of the Year and the Growing Blue Award for Sustainability.
