OpenCEL is a cell lysis technology used primarily in two applications in wastewater treatment: anaerobic digestion and Biological Nutrient Removal (BNR). The OpenCEL system has reduced biosolids 30%, increased gas production 60%, and eliminated the need for external supplemental carbon for denitrification.
