2" 72" Resilient Seated Gate Valve. Extra Heavy Duty, Robust Construction. J & S Valve combines the highest quality materials available in an AWWA C509 & C515 Resilient Seated Gate Valve. J & S construction is: Ductile Iron Body, Bonnet, Wedge and Gland where as the AWWA Specifications allow for Cast Iron. EPDM is more resistant to Chlorine and Chloramines which are used in high concentration in Reuse Water Systems. This selection of materials along with Stainless Steel Fasteners and NSF 61 Approved Fusion Bonded Epoxy coating both on the Interior and Exterior of the Valves assure the End-User a robust, long lasting, maintenance free valve.
