The HydroCal CAF®, Air Flotation system will remove fat, oil and grease, colloidal and suspended solids from industrial and municipal effluents. It automatically separates these materials from the liquid waste and renders them suitable for separate disposal. The removal of these materials is essential prior to conventional treatment as their presence seriously decreases treatment plant performance. The removal also greatly decreases pollution loading and can render the effluent suitable for disposal to public sewers. The CAF® system, when operated with the assistance of flocculation chemicals, can greatly reduce BOD & COD levels in Industrial wastewater, thus reducing sewer charges. The CAF® can therefore assist the industrialist to bring the wastewater within the required discharge standards and in addition, reduce operating costs. HydroCal’s installations include a wide range of industries.
