ERA supplies a very cost effective Vapor Compression Distillation (VCD) system for 1000 - 300,000+ gallons per day. VCD systems have replaced Reverse Osmosis systems. VCD can remove contaminants from water via distillation; such as high BOD, COD at a cost of less than $.01 per gallon. For example, sugar, starch, milk, salts, oils and more can be concentrated, and water removed to offer a reuse, saleable product for the concentrate as well as a distilled water byproduct.
