ECO2 SuperOxygenation Technology dissolves pure oxygen into (waste)water at an oxygen transfer rate of 90-95%. Raising the D.O. and maintaining aerobic conditions in force mains, headworks and primary clarifiers PREVENTS the formation of H2S and the associated ODORS and CORROSION. Extremely low O&M costs make this a cost-effective alternative to conventional chemical treatment. WWTPs with high D.O. or low BOD discharge permits can use the ECO2 Technology to offset BOD and supplement DO in their discharge without the need for costly tertiary treatment. In water quality applications, the technology prevents H2S formation and Fe & Mn release from sediments of drinking water reservoirs.
