Columbus Instruments manufactures line of laboratory respirometers which are being used for measuring respiration ( O2,CO2 and CH4) of waste water, sediments, compost and soil. Additionally Columbus Instruments manufactures portable gas analyzers used in composting and landfills as well as instruments sold to pharmaceutical companies for studying behavior of animals. Columbus Instruments was formed in 1970 and incorporated in Ohio in 1975.
