Products + Services

Advanced Valve Technologies installed a 24-in. EZ valve on a spiral-weld pipeline. A weld-on custom sleeve assembly provided the correct outside diameter, and the installation was then performed normally: under full pressure, with no service interruption and without costly restraint. The patented Resilient Wedge Gate design delivers a bubble-tight seal. more
  • Advanced Valve Technologies installed a 24-in. EZ valve on a spiral-weld pipeline. A weld-on custom sleeve assembly provided the correct outside diameter, and the installation was then performed normally: under full pressure, with no service interruption and without costly restraint. The patented Resilient Wedge Gate design delivers a bubble-tight seal. more
  • Advanced Valve Technologies installed the first horizontal 20-in. EZ Valve for Mishawaka, Ind.’s, water department. The valve was located at a shallow depth under an active street. Installation was completed under full pressure with no service interruption and without costly restraint. A 90-degree bevel gear attachment makes actuation normal. more
  • Install any 4- to 8-in. EZ Valve temporary line stop or permanent valve in one hour and in tight quarters. The 10- and 12-in. systems take about an hour and a half to install, and the 16-, 20- and 24-in. models require only four to five hours to complete. The units offer speed, performance and value. more
  • EZ Valve, a system for permanent insertion valves and temporary line stops, has a range of sizes that start at 4 in. and now includes 16-, 20-, and 24-in. models. The versatile design and its gaskets accommodate inexact outer diameters, virtually all pipe materials and irregular geometries without special treatment or costly equipment. more
  • The EZ Valve system is one machine with two functions. The removable valve bonnet means you can take it or leave it for either a temporary line stop or an AWWA material standards, UL-certified and NSF/ANSI 61-compliant permanent valve install. The built-in isolation valve provides a fast and easy install under full flow conditions. more
  • The EZ valve provides a built-in (NSF 61-certified) isolation valve for easy “under-pressure” installation in less than one hour (4- to 12-in. models). Larger sizes (14 to 24 in.) install in less than 4 hours. They meet AWWA C-509-09/C-515 and are less expensive than traditional shutdowns and work in heavily tuberculated pipe. The removable and reusable valve bonnet adapts to both valve... more
  • The Curb-Stop is a mechanical in-line stopper system for use with water, gas and mechanical/industrial applications, including use on steel and copper type K and L services. Its design features a rubber-coated gate, an internal feed screw and a bolt-on fitting, and it allows for quick and simple installation. The Curb-Stop is easily installed in all piping applications in a matter of minutes. It... more
  • The 312 tapping machine (hot tapping/wet tapping) has a unique design that allows you to make pressure, side or hot taps on any common pipe. Whether it is on water or gas, taps can be made with excellent reliability and accuracy. Weighing approximately 60 lb (27.21 kg), AVT’s tapping machine can easily be operated by a single user. It has carbide cutting teeth for fast, accurate cutting on steel... more
  • The AVT 412 tapping machine features CNC-machined aircraft-grade aluminum alloy components that provide strength with reduced weight, as well as corrosion-resistant side shafts that are graduated for easy reference. The hard chrome plated 2-in.-diameter (50.8-mm) drive shaft improves durability and resists corrosion. A manual-feed hand wheel is independent of rotation, giving the operator... more
