Acme Engineering Products Inc.
Our Automatic Scraper Strainer is designed to automatically remove contaminants down to 75 microns in size from all liquid process flows. It is ideally suited to the purification of water intake from lakes and rivers or for removing waste from industrial effluent or other waste treatment. Unlike conventional backwash-design strainers, the Scraper Strainer can automatically remove all large solid particles, even bottles and cans. We have special designs for low inlet pressure installations, steam jacketed vessels for viscous fluids, tars, black liquor, etc.
