Godwin Pumps Now Available with Tier 4 Engine Technology

Xylem announced that its Godwin range of diesel pumps is now available with Tier 4 engines, the most up-to-date engine technology available. The new Tier 4 engines in Godwin pumps reduce air pollution by minimizing particulate matter (PM) and nitrogen oxides (NOx), as well as delivering enhanced engine control and reduced engine noise.

Xylem to Expand Rental Bank of Godwin Pumps

Xylem announced that it is expanding its bank of Godwin brand high head dewatering pumps to cater for increased rental. Xylem made the announcement at the opening day of the Hillhead 2014 tradeshow at Hillhead Quarry, Buxton, U.K.

Xylem’s rental bank expansion will give customers the option to choose from an additional 20 assets of Godwin dewatering pumps, including the high head Godwin HL series, the Godwin CD and NC (non-clog) series.

Flygt Launches Road Show to Exhibit Equipment

Flygt is touring the country with 24- and 12-ft-long mobile display units (MDUs) equipped with exhibits of the manufacturer’s solutions for water and wastewater systems. The larger mobile showroom features equipment marketed by Flygt and Godwin, a companion line of pumps also owned by Xylem Inc. Itineraries will include appearances staffed by Flygt experts at tradeshows, customer locations, distributor-sponsored venues and consultant seminars.

Xylem Opens Third Dewatering Solutions Location in Florida

Xylem announced the opening of its newest dewatering solutions branch in Pompano Beach, FL.

The branch is managed by current Florida branch manager Mike Sturgill.

The 12,000 sq ft facility is equipped with shop and office space, and sits on more than two acres. It is located between I-95 and the Florida Turnpike, 32 miles south of West Palm Beach and 30 miles north of Miami.

Godwin to Participate in WEFTEC Operations Challenge

Xylem announced that its Godwin brand will again be featured in the Operations Challenge at the 2013 Water Environment Federations Technical Ehxibition and Conference (WEFTEC). The Godwin brand was featured in the WEFTEC Operations Challenge Maintenance Event 2005-2009. Now it's back for the 2014-2017 challenges. In addition, equipment and technology from Xylem's Flygt and MJK brands will be included in the challenge.

Xylem Launches New Dewatering Pump

Xylem Inc. has launched a new Godwin pump specifically designed for lower head dewatering applications. The Godwin Vac-Prime is an efficient, automatic, self-priming dewatering solution ideally suited to well-pointing. The new pump will be unveiled for the first time at Bauma tradeshow, April 15 to 21, 2013 in Munich, Germany.

Xylem Inc. will showcase its range of Godwin portable pumps featuring Flygt N-technology at the Bauma International Trade Fair, April 15 to 21, 2013, in Munich, Germany. The new range, Xylem’s Godwin NC-Series, is engineered to deliver clog-free pumping for maximum uptime and effectiveness.

Xylem also announced that it will unveil a new submersible dewatering pump range at the show; comprising four new pumps ranging from 4 to 18 kW. The new range is ideal for water removal in mining, tunneling and other harsh dewatering conditions.

Xylem Announces New Addition to Godwin Range

Xylem Inc., unveiled new additions to its Godwin dewatering portfolio. Xylem, which spun off from ITT Corp., last year, launched the Godwin Heidra NC Series at WEFTEC 2012 in New Orleans.

The series is the latest addition to Xylem's Godwin portfolio. Last year the company introduced NC pumps to the Godwin Dri-Prime centrifugal pump line, with patented Flygt N-technology and an innovative self-cleaning impeller.

Godwin Supports Hurricane Isaac Relief Efforts

Godwin, a Xylem brand, continues to support emergency relief efforts through the south after Hurricane Isaac.

In the same areas hit by Hurricane Katrina in 2005, parishes throughout New Orleans and Baton Rouge were experiencing flooding and power outages from Hurricane Isaac. Pump stations were being used at length because of the outages, and needed backup. Godwin, in conjunction with distributor Better Pumps & Solutions, deployed a total of 167 pumps.

Xylem Appoints New VP of Sales for U.S. Dewatering Solutions

Xylem, a global water technology company focused on addressing world water issues, has named Mike Delzingaro as vice president and director of sales for dewatering solutions.

Delzingaro has 14 years of experience with Godwin Pumps and Xylem. Most recently he was regional manager for the northeast region. He holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in mechanical engineering from Villanova University.

Godwin Raises Funds for National Military Family Assn.

Godwin, a manufacturer of the Dri-Prime automatic self-priming and dry-running pump, recently held a raffle to benefit the National Military Family Assn. (NMFA).

Godwin employees were able to raise $4,595 for the NMFA, the leading charity committed to strengthening and protecting service members' families in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, Public Health Service and NOAA. The money raised is enough to send eight children to Operation Purple camps.
