Chester Engineers Announces Promotions

Aug. 12, 2008
David A. Velegol, Jr.; Hasan R. Alkhayri, P.E.; and Dennis L. Camp promoted

Robert O. Agbede, president and CEO of Chester Engineers, has announced three key promotions.

David A. Velegol, Jr., formerly vice president, industrial projects, has been promoted to senior vice president, engineering and technical services; Hasan R. Alkhayri, P.E., formerly vice president, regional offices, has become senior vice president, regional and international offices; and Dennis L. Camp, formerly manager, business development, is now national director of business development, industrial and EPCM projects.

Velegol’s promotion comes, in part, in recognition of the growth of the Industrial Group. In three years, the group has experienced a growth of more than 500%.

Alkhayri’s promotion recognizes the growth he has engineered in the Columbus office, increasing the staff by more than 500% in three years. Eventually he will be heading up Chester offices in the United Arab Emirates.

Camp’s instrumental role in developing the Industrial Group’s client base is being acknowledged with this promotion. In his new position he will continue to provide the group with sales and business development leadership on a national level.
