Carney Appointed New VP of Gardner Denver's Blower Division

Ross J. Centanni, chairman, president and CEO of Gardner Denver, Inc. has announced the appointment of Michael Carney to the position of vice president and general manager of the Blower Division.

Gardner Denver is a manufacturer of compressors and blowers for industrial applications and pumps for petroleum and industrial markets. Carney will have worldwide responsibility for the company's centrifugal and positive displacement blowers, vane compressors and engineered compressor and blower packages. These products are used in a broad range of applications, including wastewater treatment, pneumatic conveying, vacuum systems, and soil remediation.

Prior to joining Gardner Denver, Carney was employed for six years as chief operations officer of Woods Equipment Company and vice president of their construction business. He previously worked for General Electric Company for sixteen years.
