Call for Papers Announced for Plastic Pipes XV 2010 Conference

The Plastic Pipes Conference Association is now accepting abstracts for its Plastic Pipes XV Conference that will be held Sept. 20 to 22, 2010, in Vancouver, British Columbia. The deadline for abstract submission is Oct. 31, 2009.

Being held for only the second time in North America, the 30-year-old conference series will feature more than 100 presentations during three days in the areas of sustainability, conservation, energy, water, plumbing, drainage, mining, industrial and irrigation.

Plastic piping materials such as polyethylene (PE), polyvinyl chloride (PVC), cross-linked polyethylene (PEX), chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (CPVC) and others will be covered during the conference.

In addition to the technical sessions, Plastic Pipes XV will also feature exhibits showcasing the latest developments in plastic piping systems testing, design and manufacturing. PPXV will be held in conjunction with the American Gas Association’s Plastics Materials Committee meeting.
