Bord na Mona Appoints New Director of Business Development

Raymond Peat, formerly of Premier Tech and Bio-Microbics Inc., joins water treatment solutions group

In a move designed to strengthen its long-term sales and marketing programs, Bord na Mona Environmental Products U.S. Inc. has announced the appointment of Raymond Peat to the position of director of business development, reporting directly to President Shane Keaney.

Effective immediately, Peat assumes complete responsibility for the development and implementation of all North American business development programs in support of Bord na Mona’s residential and commercial wastewater and water reuse treatment systems. “Raymond Peat brings a solid track record of proven business development success to Bord na Mona,” Keaney said. "He has the experience, the contacts and the talent to drive immediate and long-term sales growth.”

Peat comes to Bord na Mona from Premier Tech Environment, the Quebec, Canada-based environmental business unit of the $300-million French Canadian company Premier Tech, where he served as director of market development. In this capacity, Peat developed all sales, marketing and application engineering plans for new market penetration as well as contributing new product ideas to the company’s Innovation, Research & Development Team.

Prior to this, Peat was with Shawnee, Kan,-based Bio-Microbics Inc. from 1996 to 2008.
