International orders total $735,000, U.S. orders more than $1 million

BIOREM, Inc. recently announced the receipt of new orders totaling $735,000 through their representative in the Middle East. The orders are for five systems in three separate locations and will all be delivered in 2008.

“BIOREM’s technology has gained a great deal of traction in the Middle East,” said Peter Bruijns, president & CEO. “We maintain strong relationships with representatives worldwide in key market segments and these organizations are successfully educating local owners, contractors and engineers on the value of biological odor removal technologies.”

The company also announced the receipt of two orders totaling $1 million for odor control systems in Florida and Texas. The projects include a large biotrickling filter project in Cape Coral, Fla., valued at over $800,000 and a modular biofilter order for the city of Corpus Christi, Texas.

The Cape Coral installation will utilize the Mytilus product line. These large-scale biotrickling filter systems were introduced within the last several years to strategically expand the market size for the company. The Corpus Christi system will use the well-established Basys biofilter and is the fifth system installation for this customer.
