Presentation will include case study on Orange County Water Replenishment Project
On Feb. 23 the American Water Works Assn. (AWWA) and the WateReuse Assn. will co-sponsor a webcast titled “Water Reuse: A Call to Action.” The webcast will highlight key recommendations from water utilities and industry leaders from around the world, and form an effective call to action for water industry leaders to follow, while offering resources to support water utilities as they plan for and incorporate water reuse into their sustainable water portfolios. Additionally, the webcast will highlight a case study from the Orange County (Calif.) Water Replenishment Project and specific approaches it used as an example for other utilities to follow.
Webcast presenters include Brian Good, incoming president, WateReuse Assn. and director of operations, Denver Water Department; Dr. Joseph Jacangelo, AWWA Technical & Education Council chair and executive committee member and vice president, MWH Global; and Michael Wehner, assistant general manager, Orange County Water District.
