Controller Provides Numerous Network Options for Hazardous Gas Detection

May 4, 2015
Device permits connection of up to 32 detectors

Sierra Monitor’s Sentry IT 32 channel controller is a network-enabled hazardous gas detection system controller that interfaces with devices over Modbus RTU, 4-20 mA, Sentry PSG Bus and conventional dry contact. As part of the Sentry IT line, the 32 channel controller is compatible with Sentry IT sensors and other third-party sensors and devices.

With its modular internal design, users can select just those I/O components that are needed for their application without adding multiple external boxes. The controller’s touch-sensitive color panel, along with a menu-driven configuration approach, makes it easy to configure the system. In addition, the controller integrates with plant-wide control systems or with PCs, tablets and smartphones to provide the necessary data and alarms.

The Sentry IT 32 channel controller is approved and certified by a variety of third party agencies, including FM, UL, ATEX and CE.
