Accudyne Industries Names Charles Treadway CEO

Treadway was most recently president and chief executive officer of Thomas & Betts Corporation

Accudyne Industries, a global provider of flow control systems and industrial compressors, announced that Charles L. Treadway has been named chief executive officer, succeeding Elmer Doty. Treadway, who most recently served as president and chief executive officer of Thomas & Betts Corporation, a global business unit of ABB, will assume the position on March 1 and be based in Dallas. Accudyne is a portfolio company of BC Partners and The Carlyle Group.

Treadway has been chief executive officer of Thomas & Betts since 2012 and president and chief operating officer since 2011. Treadway joined Thomas & Betts in 2009 as group president of electrical, its largest segment.

Prior to Thomas & Betts, Treadway served in several management and executive positions at Schneider Electric S.A., Prettl International, Inc. and Yale Security, Inc.  He earned his Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Louisiana-Lafayette and Clemson University, respectively, and his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
