The Association of Water Technologies (AWT), the organization representing hundreds of regional water treatment companies throughout the United States and internationally, knows how important quality suppliers are to the water technology industry. To honor these suppliers, AWT will acknowledge one special individual or company on September 23, at the 2005 AWT Convention and Exposition in Palm Springs, Calif.
Suppliers – the distributors and manufacturers serving the water technology industry – provide a variety of water treatment products, chemicals and equipment that support and advance the independent water treatment industry. Many suppliers are active in research and development and the introduction of special applications. AWT is looking for suppliers who provide not only great customer service and a quality product, but who are especially dedicated to the business needs and goals of the water technology professional.
“AWT realizes that quality suppliers are vital to the success of the water technologist,” said Steve MacCarthy, president of AWT. “We decided it was important to start recognizing these extraordinary individuals for all of the support they provide to our businesses and we look forward to honoring one of our suppliers in September.”
To nominate a supplier simply fill out a Supplier of the Year nomination form by rating candidates on their customer service skills, accuracy of estimates, knowledgability, availability of sales staff and overall satisfaction, and use the form to explain why the supplier being nominated is worthy of the award. An expert industry panel will judge nominations, and a winner will be chosen based on the criteria presented in the nomination form.
The Association is accepting nominations for the 2005 Supplier of the Year Award until August 22, 2005. To fill out a nomination form, visit www.awt.org. Forms can be submitted via e-mail to [email protected] or mailed to the address on the form.
