Aquatech Launches MoVap Mobile Evaporator System

Aquatech. a provider of water purification technology for industrial and infrastructure markets with a focus on desalination, water reuse and zero liquid discharge, launched MoVap, a mobile evaporator system at a private luncheon jointly organized by Washington County, Pa., the Washington County Chamber of Commerce and Aquatech.

The MoVap unit is a solution designed for the growing frac and produced wastewater treatment needs of the Marcellus Gas Shale region, which includes Washington County. The MoVap unit is designed to reduce the volume of high total dissolved solids laden wastewaters from the gas well frac operation directly at the well head. The advantages of the carrying out the operation are recovery of waste for reuse and reduction of waste discharge, the company said.
