Applied Water Technologies to Provide Cooling Water Treatment to Schlumberger Training Center

Global Water Technologies, Inc. (GWT), a full-service cooling water treatment company utilizing advanced technologies and engineered solutions to provide process cooling water to power plants, process industries, HVAC systems and municipalities worldwide, announced that its subsidiary, Applied Water Technologies, Inc. (AWT) has received a contract from Way Service, Ltd. to provide its proprietary AquaPhysics cooling water treatment technologies and services through Way Service for the Schlumberger Training Center located in Sugar Land, TX.

AWT's AquaPhysics program is a non-chemical cooling water treatment service that incorporates a series of proprietary technologies for the control of scale, corrosion, fouling and microbio, resulting in improved system performance as well as energy and water conservation. AquaPhysics(TM) replaces chemical treatment of cooling towers, thereby eliminating employee exposure, liability and discharge concerns associated with traditional chemical treatment.

Way Service, Ltd., one of three mechanical contracting companies in the Way Companies, provides HVAC services to the commercial and industrial marketplace. These services include installation, preventative maintenance, repair and replacement, as well as outsourced building operations. Selected as a LINC Service contractor in 1993, Way Service, Ltd. specializes in dispatched total responsibility preventative maintenance programs. Schlumberger is a global technology services company with corporate offices in New York, Paris and The Hague. Schlumberger has more than 80,000 employees, representing 140 nationalities, working in nearly 100 countries.
