American Water Summit to Focus on Nation's Water Future

The summit will be held Nov. 5 and 6, 2013 in Washington, D.C.

The American Water Summit, held Nov. 5 and 6, 2013 at the Westin, Washington Dulles International Airport in Washington, D.C., will offer an opportunity for senior water experts to network and learn about the future of water in America.

Water utility leaders, business water users, investors, engineers and water technology companies are encouraged to attend the summit to learn about market trends, the future of water infrastructure and the benefits of using water in business.

Hosted by Global Water Intelligence, the summit will include panels, networking sessions, plant tours and research presentations.

A Mayors’ Panel will feature a group of mayors representing different regions of the U.S. discussing water and wastewater strategies, while the Water Leaders Session’s theme is “Needs, Expectations and Delivery. Where do we go from now?” Visitors can also register for a 60-minute tour of DC Water’s Blue Plains Advanced Wastewater Treatment Plant.
