Activated Carbon Hall of Fame Awardee Announced

Gordon L. Culp, Smith Culp Consulting, Las Vegas, NV will be the recipient of the Activated Hall of Fame award at a luncheon on September 21, 2000 during the 8th International Activated Carbon Conference in Pittsburgh, PA. Culp will present a paper titled "New Markets for Activated Carbons." Culp has been a long-time leader in developing and disseminating information that has led to the application of granular activated carbon in wastewater and water treatment systems throughout the world. Prior winners of the Award include: Dr. Milton Manes, George Tobias, Jonathan C. Cooper and Dr. Amos Turk.
