Abstract submissions will be accepted until Sept. 14, 2009

ACE10 is now accepting abstract submissions. The 129th Amercan Water Works Association’s (AWWA) Annual Conference and Exposition will take place in Chicago next June.

Water professionals contribute knowledge and vision to the conference’s professional program. AWWA solicits both oral and poster presentations for the conference’s professional program. Papers for both will be included in the conference proceedings.

Session topics include:
• Distribution, Plant Operations, and Maintenance;
• Engineering, Design, and Construction;
• Government Affairs;
• International Topics;
• Management and Leadership;
• Public Affairs;
• Regulatory Trends;
• Research;
• Residuals;
• Security;
• Small Systems;
• Mid-Western Regional Topics;
• Water Conservation;
• Water Quality; and
• Water Resources/Reuse.

Abstract submissions are accepted online at awwa.org/ace10. Submission deadline is Sept. 14, 2009.

Membership in AWWA is not a requirement for presentation. Individuals or organizations may submit as many abstracts as they choose, but each abstract can only be submitted in one session topic area.

If more than one abstract is submitted on different aspects of an individual project, the project may be selected more than once for presentation.

In all cases, AWWA will contact to confirm submitter’s availability to make the presentation. Presentation of more than one paper by the same organization during any given session is discouraged.

A separate form must be provided for each individual abstract. Please indicate if your presentation is suitable for a poster or oral presentation.
