    A Hard Look at Iron Removal Systems
    Among the many challenges water softening dealers face, one of most difficult can be the presence of iron in a customer’s water supply, particularly in areas where iron content is high. Iron can be a challenge to identify, let alone to recommend an effective and efficient treatment.

    Nancy Lucas is marketing manager for the water conditioning segment of Cargill Salt of Minneapolis. Lucas started with Cargill Salt as a chemist in 1988 and joined the marketing department in 1991. She holds a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Augsburg College in Minneapolis.
