13th IWA Specialist Conference on Watershed & River Basin Management

The 13th IWA Specialist Conference on Watershed and River Basin Management will be held Sept. 9 to 12, 2014 at San Francisco’s JW Marriott San Francisco Union Square. Hosted by the Ecological Engineering Research Program at the University of the Pacific, the conference will include technical tours showcasing sustainable water practices in California, as well as group activities. This edition of the conference will look at the effects of agricultural watersheds on their environment, the impacts of climate change on watershed management, recent occurrences of harmful algal blooms, new results on monitoring and assessment and more.
